Feeding Directions

1. Complete and Balanced: WHISKAS® Beef and Poultry is a full meal by itself.
2. Hydration: Always provide fresh, clean water with every meal.
3. Portion Control: Serve daily according to your cat’s weight.
4. Separate Bowls: Use different bowls for dry and wet cat food.
5. Twice a Day: It’s recommended to feed your cat twice a day.
6. Diet Transition: If your cat isn’t accustomed to WHISKAS® yet, mix it with their current food for a few days to help them adjust.

Diet Transition

When switching your cat’s food, it’s important to do so gradually to avoid stomach upsets. This usually takes around 7 days, but it’s always a good idea to keep an eye on how your cat is handling the change. Start by mixing 25% new food with 75% of their current food. Gradually increase the new-to-old food ratio over 7 days until your cat has fully transitioned to the new food.

Here’s a general guideline:

• Days 1-3: 25% new food, 75% old food
• Days 4-5: 50% new food, 50% old food
• Days 6-7: 75% new food, 25% old food
• Day 8: 100% new food
